  • Our new location is at a charming old gas station at the corner of Ashby & Sacramento in Berkeley. It has pull-through access, is at a prominent intersection, and is close to the I-80 corridor.
  • Four cars can fill up at once at two different pumps.
  • Regular station hours are from 11am-7pm Monday through Saturday. If you have purchased a Freedom Fueling Card you can access our automated pumps between the hours of 7am and Midnight seven days a week.
  • Our biodiesel continues to be high quality, meeting all ASTM standards, and is made from recycled vegetable oil.
  • Our pumps are powered by solar panels, our store sells urban farming supplies, and we broke up pavement to grow California native plants.

How it Works

Easy to Pay

Our automated credit card system makes it easy to pay. We only have one price. To limit the amount of cash onsite we encourage people to use a credit card (Visa or MasterCard) to pay. We continue to accept checks.

Hours of Operation

Regular Station Hours (with staff present):
Monday thru Saturday: 11:00am-7:00pm
Closed Sunday

For those of you who need more fueling hours, we are offering the Freedom Fueling Card

Freedom Fueling Card-More Access

The Freedom Fueling Card allows you to buy fuel whether or not the station is open.

Freedom Fueling Hours

7am-Midnight 7 days a week
No staff is present outside of Regular Station Hours

The Freedom Fueling Card costs a one time fee of $35 to cover hardware and software costs. To purchase the card, come in to the station during Regular Station Hours, with a credit card we can link it to.
